Naruto 437, Tsubasa 214, xxx-HOLiC 174

Okay, right off the bat. HUGE FREAKING SPOILERS for Tsubasa, xxxHolic, and Naruto.

You were warned.

First off, for Naruto... I really freaking hate Pain. He killed Grampa frog and most likely Gramma frog and now... Dear Hinata confesses her love to Naruto only to be slapped down by Pain and stabbed. There's no clear cut killing, but there's a good chance he gave her a fatal wound. Of all the people I'd hate to see die in this series, she was on the top of the list. God damn it. I love Hinata, and I really don't want her to be dead too... Needless to say, Naruto goes insane... Kyuubi-style.


Tsubasa 214 delivers YET ANOTHER of its many many twists, and this one left me thinking that I should have seen it coming. Everything that Syaoran has been working for has been to make up for a moment's hesitation and in what would seem to the story's climax, he grasps Sakura's hand and pulls her from the grip of death. Isn't this what Fei Wang didn't want to happen? No. His stupid smug little ass reveals to a very shocked Syaoran, Fai, and Kurogane, that this is exactly what he planned. What it all means remains to be seen, but in the chapter's last page, Yuuko is seen in a prone position in a flurry of flower petals... Why do I have a bad feeling about this?

That bad feeling is only reinforced by xxxHolic 174... Seeing my all-time favorite Clamp character disappear in a dream after ominously speaking of parting in the previous chapter isn't exactly a good sign. You would do that to me, wouldn't you, Clamp? Jeez. T__T Don't go, Yuuko! I love you so much!!


Please end it well, Clamp... My fangirly happiness depends on it...

ARE YOU SHITTING ME? ARE YOU SERIOUSLY FUCKING SHITTING ME!? Is Kakashi really dead? This is bullshit! That better not be the end. How can you kill him in so few pages? This is the most pitiful manga death since Byakuya! Oh what the hell!? I'm so pissed.

I don't like Pein. I want to see him die a horrible death. And Kakashi better not die... If he dies the fandom will riot. I will quit. Seriously. ;__;

Naruto 421

Is it honestly a surprise that Akatsuki attacked Konohagakure? Unlike most villianous groups, they actually did something instead of endlessly sitting around plotting and shit.

Good for them.

Also, Tsunade bullies the elderly, Sakura kills a giant centipede that seemed to have escaped from an episode of Inuyasha, and Danzou kills a cute little froggy. That scarred-up old bastard! I hope he gets killed by a frog for great justice.

AND! Are we closer to figuring out the secret of Pein's numerous, sizable black piercings? YES! Thanks to Shizune! Apparently they're chakra receptors and not just hideous accessories. Also, they're still receiving chakra signals even though the ones being studied were taken from the corpse of one of Pein's ppl...

The obvious conclusion is that Pein's people are corpses that he somehow continues to manipulate with all the original body's techniques and such. It's not that hard to figure out. Sasori did it with the corpse of the Kazekage and Kakuzu did something similar by absorbing the hearts of powerful victims.

But don't tell Tsunade and them that, they have to figure it out for themselves...

Naruto 404

Been a while since I wrote about Naruto, but I have been keeping up with it. Perhaps I should warn about spoilers before I say Itachi died and everything we thought we knew about him was wrong. It's actually kind of sad, really. In the end, he was protecting his emo little brother... Needless to say, Sasuke didn't take that news well... Battling with denial and the fact that his singular goal all this time was basically meaningless, he arbitrarily decides his group Snake (recently renamed Falcon or Eagle, depending on the translator) will take out Konoha... and hey, look, he just joined Akastuki to do this. Hilarious. I knew there was a reason I've always hated him...

But what I really wanted to mention was the fact that I was just beginning to get over Jiraiya's untimely death when the frog sage people show up in Konoha and tell Naruto that he is in fact 100% dead.

And my tantrum begins anew. WHY DO MY FAVORITE CHARACTERS HAVE TO DIE? WHY!? >__< JIRAIYA! YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO HOOK UP WITH TSUNADE AND LIVE A LONG LONG TIME BEING PERVY AND AWESOME!

Itachi died. No real shock there. Emo boy Sasuke won. Wow. Tobi is Uchiha Madara. Yeah, I'd been wondering...

Wait, what's this? Itachi was trying to protect Sasuke all along? It's kind of surprising, but I guess it takes a bit more than that to shock me anymore. Maybe I'd be more interested if I liked Sasuke as a character? Meh. In the mean time, where the fuck are Naruto and his friends with expert tracking capabilites?

I know! Maybe I'm still mad that Jiraiya had to die. That's it. Kill Asuma. That's fine. I won't really miss him. BUT JIRAIYA!? JIRAIYA DIED AND I'M STILL PISSED ABOUT IT!

Why did I stop reading Harry Potter? Because Dondon spoiled book five before I'd finished it and told me Sirius dies. So I was like 'fuck that. I quit.'

I didn't love Jiraiya quite that much, but the let down is the same. D:

I'll get over it eventually, I imagine, but I haven't gotten over it yet.
